Innovation Speaker Series

How do professionals, organizations, and entrepreneurs, engineer innovation?

To answer this question, this semester inno-si is partnering with administration and faculty at the School of Information to bring together an Innovation Speaker Series at the School of Information.  This series is focused on the topic of innovation, and its inputs and outputs.

An increasingly popular input for innovation is design thinking. As part of the Innovation Speaker Series, we’ve brought together resources from our administration and faculty at the School of Information, and partnered with the Design + Business student organization at the Ross School of Business, to co-sponsor the d+b labs.

The overarching goals for the d+b labs are to demonstrate the value of design thinking and visual thinking for effective problem solving and communication.  Click on the image below for more info and to register for this exciting event.  We hope to see a strong presence of SI students!

Aside from the d+b labs, inno-si will be bringing speakers from other leading organizations to share with us their innovation frameworks, tools, and methodologies throughout this semester. Stay tuned!
